Over Polystyrene Insulation Apply Sova K & S Base Mortar from base to 300mm above ground level. This prevents moisture penetration through render. Apply Sova K & S Mortar to remainder of wall. Thickness of K & S Mortar is 5mm applied in one layer. When Sova K & S Mortar is still wet, roll in Sova Glass Fibre Mesh Red. Roll in so that mesh disappears in Sova K & S Mortar. Sova K & S Mortar needs to be completely dry prior to application of following layers. This is normally estimated at 24 hours per mm thickness. When completely dry apply 1 coat Sova Primer UGD & allow to dry overnight. Apply 1 coat Sovasan Silicone Resin Plaster (Coloured) at 3mm thickness. This will provide a weather resistant and colour fast top coat, with a choice of 2 different textures. Apply 1 coat of Sovamix Topcoat Plaster (Coloured) at 3mm thickness. Apply Sovasilan Silicone Resin Façade Paint for a highly weather resistant, driving rain proof and rain repelling with low water permeability and high water vapor diffusion finish. Application in all situations can be enhanced by using Sova Corner Angle and Sova Rendering Moulding (for doors and windows). This is rolled into base coat.
